Interesting....very interesting

ok...the internet system at this school is screwy, but i'll forgive them all because i figured out how to wirelessly cheat the system until i can get on officially. nice!

i have been walking all over the freakin place these last couple days and i still have very little clue as to where the hell i am and my legs are sore. however, i've come to find some really cool stuff and places i want to check out more in depth.

i moved into my dorm today...can't lie, the amenities are slightly nicer than at conn...even if they do come with awkward pink paint on the walls. i don't really have a good view, which is rather disappointing, but i can see part of arthur's seat from my window. the bathroom, however, does pale in comparison to home. it's a one person thing really that has a toilet, sink, and shower all in one little room like my bathroom at home. so if someone's taking a shower or going to the bathroom, there's almost no way you can do the same.

oh! funniest thing! i saw this random guy on the side of princes street all painted silver and miming...he was so much like the guy from eurotrip that the girl i was with and i had to stop and watch for a few minutes. it was amazing.

yeah, so....i don't really know what else to say. i'm attempting to register so that i can go online, but it's gonna take a while. i also found out that i apparently had vacation reading for a class i'm enrolled in this semester....that would have been nice to know a little earlier. but because i didn't have my university of edinburgh email address, i didn't know until yesterday. oh well, hakuna matata.

YAY!!!

so...after hours on a plane and less sleep than i've had in a very long time, i am now in SCOTLAND!!!!!!!!! not that i'm excited or anything. i already love this place and the people in my program are pretty freakin awesome. i don't have a phone yet, which is driving me up the wall because i no longer have any sense of time now, but i'm a big girl and can deal with that.

i don't really have too much to say...i'm exhausted and a nap before dinner with the crew sounds really fuckin good. love you all and just wanted you to know that i made it safely!

One Week until Fly Out

Hi Everyone! As i said in my email, i'm stealing Alex's idea. i'm gonna try and do this to keep everyone posted and see how well it works. i make no promises about my ability to remember to post.

Ok, so, i have one week until i fly out...can't lie i'm nervous. but hakuna matata right!? um....i don't have much to say really cause i'm not there and i'm not in crunchdown mode for packing and all that. i'm going shopping tomorrow for a few more last minute things, then i think i have everything. not that i'm not excited...but i don't think it's really hittin me yet...

so yeah, i'm gonna try and do this throughout the semester...and probably into the summer in boston if i turns out that i'm better at this than i thought. keep in touch y'all.
